Summary: Very Comprehensive Resource for Crown Molding
Comment: The first 4 chapters of this book go over history of crown and cornice molding, tools you will need with a brief description, measuring, marking and material to use (wood, MDF and bendable material). The author goes into great detail about the various molding profiles, combining different molding to get custom-looking molding, and the all important, cutting inside and outside angles. There are several projects, divided into 1-piece up to 6-piece projects. Of course, the 5-6 piece projects are the more custom and multi-layered moldings.
What I like about this book is that it not only covers crown molding, but fireplaces, frieze, medallions, baseboards and indirect lighting coves. This book seems to cover everything you want to know about crown molding. It also helps that the photographs are clear, crisp and show the details of various cuts, molding and finished product.

Summary: Awesome!!!
Comment: This is one of the best crown molding books that I have read. Where it really shines is showing numerous combinations of building up crown molding. Other books my do a better job in explaining all the ins-and-outs of hanging it (i.e. Crown Molding and Trim), but showing different configurations (and showing how they are done) sets this book apart. It sort of walks you through the process. Highly recommended!
