Customer Rating: Summary: A must have... Comment: I got this saw in one of the multi kits. I never anticpated it coming in as useful as it has. I have used it as much as any other tool. The cordless aplication makes it the first tool I pick up when I need to quickly cut through something, anything actually. I have used numerous other manufacturers corded rip saws and I do not think they have anything over the dewalt 18 volt. Customer Rating: Summary: My New Favorite Tool Comment: When I reach for a reciprocating saw it's usually to make one or two quick cuts, the last thing I want to do is have to look around for an unused cord (they are usually tangled or already in use). My new favorite tool is the DeWalt cordless 18 volt recip saw. I like the instant stopping feature, especially when exiting a cut. It has plenty of power and it's light. What more could you want? :-) I now have three DeWalt 18 volt cordless tools and they are the most "reached for" tools on the job.
