Summary: Handheld drill is tough and has good features
Comment: This drill has a lot of torque, solid feel, and seems durable. We've used these in our lab for many years and abused them quite a bit, and they've come through great. I do wish it had bubble levels mounted in the casing on the side and on the opposite end from the chuck, like some Craftsman drills do. Batteries charge fast and last a long time.

Summary: Great For Screwing
Comment: If you screw frequently, as many of us do, then this device is for you. I try to screw as often as possible and admit that in my younger days, I preferred to screw manually without the aid of any sort of electrical apparatus. As I think back, I never had any complaints unless I screwed after drinking a little too much. You see, I have found that high alcohol consumption may lead to instantaneous, inappropriate, sometimes regrettable and often very sloppy screwing that no one really appreciates when the task is complete.
I recommend to anyone having the desire to improve their screwing ability, aim and stamina, to go ahead and purchase this device because at times, all of us require a screwing partner.

Comment: As I have come to expect, this is another really great tool from Porter Cable. Very strong drive and what appears to be really good battery life. The cordless chuck even has a "lock up" feature that automatically locks the gears when you are manually changing bits (ever wrestle with the other kind?).
