Comment: Impeller broke on the unit after about 2 yrs. Very dissappointing to not be able to find a replacement part. I agree with other comments...this is irresponsible on B&D's part. I will avoid their products.

Comment: i have a b&d cs100 cordless blower--i have a small yard and it is perfect for my needs
i got one for my mom and after several years it stopped working-i got the
b&d ns118 cordless blower--it is basicaly a piece of junk-the 18 volt battery lasts about 10-15 min--plus my mom cannot change the battery in the ns118 because of arthritis in her hands so i got her a cs100 and she
is able to use it--she has a bigger yard and the battery is about out of
juice when i finish her yard
this is a wonder product because you just pick it up and go--no cord to
untangle or cuss at--sure it is not as powerful as a gas or electic blower but for about 60 bucks--ITS GREAT

Comment: I was happy with this blower which I owned for approx 2 years until plastic impeller exploded. Not a problem as you can get replacement parts for anything, right .... NOT! B&D will only sell whole assemblies. What a joke. I was reluctant to purchase Black & Decker, but took a chance. Never again! Purchase at your risk but know service life is ????

Comment: Black & Decker 12-Volt Cordless Broom Hard Surface Sweeper #CS100 is a very handy tool to have "hanging around" literally. It comes with a handy hanging charging station where it resides between uses. Powered by a small 12-Volt sealed Lead-acid battery there is no "memory" problems that plague NI-Cad rechargeables. It has plenty of power for most jobs and I have to yet run out of juice.
Light weight, convenient, powerful and affordable. Only problem, as is with some of B&D's less expensive products, is that there are no repair parts available. They (or you replace) the entire thing.
Regardless, this is a great tool for those with leaf problems on decks and driveways or even blowing the dust off the power tools out in the wood shop. Great for anyone to simply grab, flip the switch and use. Easy on the back and no messing with gasoline, yanking a starting cord or paying out a long extentsion cord that ineviteably becomes knotted up or unplugged.
