Comment: I got this will a new Dell laptop.
The first time I traveled internationally I plugged it in and it popped and smoke came out of it.
It is for USA only. Do not try to use this internationally.

Comment: This is a great product for those of us on the go. It is small enough so it doesn't bloat your travel bag. The protection offered is super. I like the fact you can plug in your lap top power supply and a printer if need be. Often we forget that you can get zapped while in a hotel so it is always used there. I purchased two one for me and one for my wife who uses it a home and when she travels. Belkin has a super reputation another reason for the purchase.
