Summary: You get what you pay for
Comment: I don't use stilts very often, but I knew there were times where they'd come in handy. These were the cheapest ($130 on sale) stilts around, so I thought I'd give them a try. The main beef I have with them is that they aren't as adjustable as other brands.
-When I assembled them, I realized they were not made for someone of my size and they are not very adjustable. I'm 5' 7" tall, and the calf support at the top that goes around your leg was at my knee. I tried to adjust it down, but it wouldn't go down far enough. I had to use a hacksaw to cut the piece so it would adjust enough.
- The strap that goes around your foot closest to your toes must be made for people who wear size 13 shoes, b/c if you wear size 9 like I do, the strap is right over the tip of the shoe and slides off sometimes. Again, it's not adjustable.
- The strap that goes around your ankle is just barely long enough.
- The heel cup is not very good, as the heel of my boots creep up and sometimes try to slip off the back of the heel cup.
- I've never really used other stilts other than just to try them on and walk around the room once, but these don't seem comfortable and the straps need to be tightened about every hour b/c they don't stay very tight.
Summary: If you need a cheaper pair of stilts to use a few times a year to make a job easier, then go for it. If you're going to be using them regularly, get yourself a better pair.
