Comment: What can I say,a second or spare battery is as far as I'm concerned a must...But I did recieve the primary purchase well before the spare battery for it which led to my having to spend more time on my project waiting for the OE battery to recharge..

Comment: This worked perfectly to replace the orginal battery on our cordless lawn trimmer. The lawn trimmer runs better then ever, it makes me wonder if the original battery was defective.

Comment: The firestorm version of this 18v battery is much better and lasts longer than the older version. You have to make sure though that you use the recommended charger and not the older Blacker & Decker chargers because you won't get the full charge. I have a pretty big backyard with lots of trimming and shrubs and one battery can last through trimming the entire yard where previously it took two!
