Summary: Solid performer for the price
Comment: I orogonally bought my first stapler from Harbor Freight tools. After shooting maybe 3 staples it completely failed, leaving me with a lot of window trim still to be installed. Checked Amazon for a medium price stapler and this fit the bill. Didn't need a $100 Dewalt unit and this one had the features I was looking for. Maxus is affiliated with Campbell Hausfield.
The first test was shooting 1.5" staples through oak trim which it performed flawlessly. Air consumption was low, not too much noise, no mis-feeds, I was happy with the purchase.
It got packed away for 6 months until more trimwork came along. This time I had a friend helping and found myself with delicate trim and only 2" staples. I still can't believe how perfectly straight it placed the staples and how it didn't dent the wood. A long skinny 2" staple going through multiple layers of wood and wallboard perfectly straight is hard to achieve without a stapler that has tight construction and build quality.
My only issue is with the stapler failing to fire once, these rely on tight internal clearances to maintain air pressure to shoot the staple. The walls of the cylinder aregreased to create the final seal. There was not enough grease and I found some blow-by when mine stopped working. I re-greased it and haven't had a problem since. 5 minute job, no problem.

Summary: Good value, oiless stapler
Comment: I haven't used this stapler much as yet, but it has some nice features, is lightweight and hence easy to use. I haven't been able to find 3/8" staples locally yet.
