Comment: I have used this product and similar DAP sealant that you put on and peel off when you no longer need it. I like the fact that it doesn't tear paint away like the weatherstripping tape does. I don't like the smell when you first apply it, but it does go away. If you are sensitive to fumes you may need to clear out for a few hours. It peels easily to remove. I use it around drafty old windows with good result. If the gap is too big, you may have to really load it, but it still is worth it. It is clear so it isn't as noticeable as tape could be

Clear energy saving sealant that forms a draft-tight and waterproof seasonal or temporary seal. Recommended for sealing out drafts around, windows, unused doors, window air conditioners, electrical and utility boxes, appliance vents, exhaust fans and skylights, campers, and more. Not recommended for wet or green wood, fire exits, over silicone sealants, underwater use, or on polystyrene. Advanced trigger delivery system allows precise application of sealant in any direction. Sealant is reusable by replacing adapter and applicator tip. 3 adapters and application tips included. Unused sealant can be stored for several months without sealant drying out. For removal, peel cured sealant from surface by pulling strip in a continuous motion. Drying time: 24 hr. to set, 3 to 5 days to dry completely.
