Summary: Replacement for my Fluke 12
Comment: My trusty Model 12 took a drop that blew a chunk out of its case. My employer bought me a 117 to replace it. Sweet. 0.1 Mv resolution, freq up to 9999HZ, back lighting, non contact voltage scanning, ect.
I like this meter. The old twelve is now patched up with some epoxy putty and in the trunk of my car. You can not go wrong with a Fluke.

Comment: This Fluke Multimeter was a wonderful purchase. I couldn't be happier. I bought it so I could bias tube amplifiers, but I find myself using it for other projects as well.
It is accurate, the screen has a switchable backlight and is easy to read, and I'm sure there are functions that I haven't even attempted to use. This is a great value for a multimeter made by one of the leaders in electronics testing equipment.
