Comment: This reel is in mint condition, and runs like new, hope to have many years of use from this reel. I will be using this reel in Alaska fishing for big halibut in 700 plus feet of water, also in the Gulf of Mexico for yellowfin tuna!

Summary: Reconditioned Ryobi
Comment: This is the first "reconditioned" product I have purchased from Amazon and, so far, am very pleased. I was a bit nervous to order a "recon", but went to Home Depot and checked out the product first hand to be sure it was what I wanted. I finally decided (right or wrong) that being a "recon" Ryobi would check it out throughly before putting it back on the market. Except for some obvious "used" marks and minor scratches, the unit was delivered clean as new. I have only had occasion to use the unit two or three times since receiving it in September, 2008. Has always started easily and ran well. My only complaint would be the lack of good instructions. After reading the owners manual, my wife and I needed several hours to figure out how to properly put the parts together and get the unit to fit around us. There is vitually no help in how to put together or adjust the straps that hold the unit on you. Thus the 4 star rating. Good luck.

Comment: So far product has been great, they forgot to send the backpack straps, I called Ryobi and they in fact sent 2 sets.
