Summary: Rubi Tiles Saw - DU 200
Comment: I don't normally write reviews but I was so impressed by this saw I had to spread the word. This tile saw is perfect for the professional or home owner and weighs only 55 lbs. It is very well made and manufactured in Spain. The components are assembled with precision and nothing vibrates when you turn this on, it's quieter than a cabinet makers table saw. I know, I have a Powermatic. This is the smallest tile saw by Rubi but has ample power to cut through just about anything with the right diamond blade. I've messed around with the MK-101 and MK-660 but purchased this saw because of the portability and ease of use. I also prefer the 'bridge/rail' design. I would purchase the stand accessory but that's about it, the saw takes about 20 seconds to assemble.
Rubi is located in Florida with decent customer support. I highly recommend purchasing from Amazon because the sales person in Southern California quoted me twice the price. This saw was palletized and shipped door to door via frieght so you don't have to worry about it being damaged in shipping. If you need something larger, Rubi has other sizes but none advertized on Amazon I would have liked the longer DU 200 L version for larger tiles. My only criticism of this saw is that the power switch is located in a an odd place that is somewhat awkward
