Summary: not so good
Comment: Though I read the reviews, I decided to try this set out anyway. For the most part, the negative reviews are quite accurate. These are poorly made, weak and should only be used for light duty applications or as supplementary clamps to hold pieces until you use your real clamps. The bar itself does bend a great deal making it difficult to imagine that there is enough force to really clamp any work. I also use Columbian clamps which are far superior to these as far as "cheap" clamps are concerned.
On a positive note - the C clamps seem fine but really, it would take effort to screw those up.
