Comment: We were burning brush, the ever so plentiful brush that appears without exception each and every year around my humble abode and which we are required, or else, to get rid of. This kind of work requires gloves of some kind and for the price and a special coupon from amazon at the time the whole thing cost me .99 cents and at that price I received the DeWalt DPG70L-3PK Coated Gripper Gloves, Large, 3-Pack. As for the quality of the glove they are fine, really, no problems but for the kind of work I was mentioning (this desert brush has countless thorns, it is definitely not nice) are probably lacking more protection. Still, the 3 of us really looked good, for a while, working outdoors with matching sets of gloves. What a pain in the arse the whole burning process is, but that is another story and not one of my dear fellow reviewers deserve to hear any of it. 3 Stars, but probably more like 3.5 for they do fit and feel good while wearing.

Comment:
I love these DeWalt Coated Gripper Gloves, 3-Pack for general work purposes. Getting them in a three pack makes these a pretty good value per pair. Even though each pair lasts a long time, this is definitely an item to keep extras on hand.

First of all, these gloves by Dewalt are not very different from other rubber coated work gloves I have bought in the past by a bunch of manufacturers. That includes Wells Lamont, Atlas and West Lake, if my memory serves me correct. They are basically cotton work gloves with the palms and fingers coated with a textured rubber surface.

I've had pretty good luck with the *one size fits all*, but this *Large* size is fine too for most men. Even with relatively small sized hands, these fit me fine. So unless you are a woman or a man with tiny hands, there is no reason to seek out the small or medium sized versions.

In terms of price, I have paid about $3 a pair for these when I was in a pinch, and I have bought them in bulk for about $1.50 a pair. So this price for the three pack is actually not bad at all. I don't think I would personally pay a premium for the yellow Dewalt ones versus the other brands, which come in more subtle colors like blue and black. But since most of the other ones here are sold via third party shippers, at least with this you can get them from Amazon directly.

Love the durable feel, and I have used them for general construction work and landscaping. The good thing about them is that the gripped surface still works when the gloves are wet, so I can see they would be good for boating or other types of work like masonry or cement work.

Definitely try these, and keep extras on hand. You never know when you might need to do some chores. Having to run out to the local hardware store for more is a time waster.

Enjoy!
