Customer Rating: Summary: Got two seasons out of new, not reconditioned one Comment: I am a petite woman who likes to work in the yard. I give this item 3 stars because while it is light and an effective (powerful) leaf blower, it is LOUD as heck (1/2 hour and your ears will be ringing if you don't wear earplugs) and it has a lot of vibration that is fairly irritating. Also, the nozzel has a tendency to fall off. My husband hates it. I only got two seasons out of it because I didn't put enough of that small engine oil in the gas tank (I was stingy when we were running low). Well serves me right, because the darn thing jammed. I am not buying another of these, though, am going to look for something with less vibration and noise.
Customer Rating: Summary: Homelite makes good & reliable Leaf Blowers Comment: I think Homelite products are vary reliable , I should know because I bought this unit to replace an 18 year old Homelite blower that still runs , I was about to spend some cash replacing some aging parts on my old blower and I saw this unit , so for a few dollars more I received a completely reconditioned unit . Please note ! this unit is in absolutly brand new condition , WOW!!! I'm impressed , I put some gas in and it started right up , my old blowers wind speed was 150 MPH & my new blower is equal to 200 MPH , so it has more power too. buy-it you will like it.
Customer Rating: Summary: can't recommend Comment: I have had one of these for two years. Definitely the most finicky of my two cycle engines. Runs slow after all starts for several minutes. As the machine got older it got more difficult to start even with meticulous attention to oil mixtures. I will not buy from this company again.
Customer Rating: Summary: Engine Weak Comment: I purchased two of these blowers and they both do the same thing. The engines take time to get up to full RPM, maybe two minutes or more. They need a lot of convincing to keep running by playing with the choke. Also, there is a clicking sound coming from the blowers, like the turbine is hitting the case. Get a Ryobi instead.
Customer Rating: Summary: gas leaf blower Comment: great blower. has all the goodies. a tad heavey but OK for a man to use unless your a woman with big guns. all in all, i recommend it.
