Summary: A very good and dependable saw..
Comment: Overall I was pleased with the performance of this table saw. It is powerful and user friendly, however it does have some flaws to it. I had to make quite a few adjustments for my needs.
PROS: The controls are easy to find and easy to set up. The locking fence mechanism locks securely when ripping. Cuts through hardwoods very nicely. Also has a vacuum hookup in the rear to capture saw dust.
CONS: Flimsy accessories. The miter gauge looks like a toy made of flimsy plastic and aluminum. I had to buy a replacement. I had to also make a miter saw sled out of the wood that I intended to use for my first project to successfully cross cut pieces 3 ft long. Also the saw has a narrow table width, so you may find yourself building side table extensions and a rear table extension to compensate for that. Lastly I would have liked to see a zero clearance insert plate come with the saw for the amount of money paid, which is something I have read in many other reviews so I hope someone from DeWalt actually reads these comments.
Lastly, it might be helpful to know that the instructions mention a blade height lock which doesn't really exist, its just a small tab attached to the angle lock lever.
Overall a good saw once you go through the process of making some of the accessories that it should have already came with the saw.

This is a reconditioned power tool. Reconditioned generally means that the tool has been returned to the manufacturer, who brings the tool back to like new condition. Some tools may contain cosmetic blemishes.
