Summary: Wonderful Foot Warmer
Comment: I was concerned that this foot warmer would be like a heating pad - that it would not get hot enough and would turn off automatically. On the contrary, it gets REALLY warm (almost too hot for bare feet), and has no auto-off. It's not much of a space heater, but if you're the kind of person who has cold feet even when the rest of you is comfortably warm, it's perfection. Also, it uses less power than a space heater, so you're less likely to blow a fuse (a major problem in my office).

Summary: Excellent foot warmer; unobtrusive
Comment: I purchased this about six weeks ago and couldn't be happier. My feet generally get very cold during the winter months, and my office's hardwood floors make things even worse. The Toasty Toes now lies flat under my desk where it keeps my feet comfortable, and as a result my whole body stays warmer.
When I ordered the Toasty Toes, I was concerned about the "ergonimic" part. There are actually two separate plastic pieces than can optionally be attached to unit to give it a slant. I tried them out and found them to be rather flimsy and unstable, which was fine with me since I wanted it to lie flat in the first place.
I highly recommend this unobtrusive (silent, small) and low energy heater to anyone with cold feet.

Summary: Nice and warm!
Comment: Great product. Not much to say about it other than it works well. It gets warm enough on the low setting to keep your feet warm under your desk/table even through dress shoes (I've been using it at work). I haven't tried the hight setting or using it as 'space' heater so no comments there.
Highly recommend this product if your space is a little cold and you want to keep your feet warm.

Summary: Awesome for me and as a bird cage heater
Comment: I live in part of the country where outside temps go as low as 40 below Fahrenheit in the winter. We keep our house at 62 Fahrenheit. I've been using this heater for over a year in my office in our basement where I work all day. It's an absolute lifesaver on concrete floors or floors with thin carpeting. Our pet conure also has one of these as his cage warmer (the footrest heater has wall/foot heater settings) for the winter months. Very highly recommended.

Summary: F*ck you winter
Comment: I should have bought one of these 4 years ago. I tend to spend much of my free time at my computer(especially in the winter). I used to wrap my feet in blankets, although that is more energy efficient than this it would take so long for them to warm up. With Toasty Toes I turned it on and within a few minuets I have warm feet, and about 15 mins later they are really warm. I wear a size 11.5US shoe(mens) and my feet this with about 1 inch to spare. If your feet are bigger than mine there is plenty of room on the sides to angle your feet so they do fit; heck right now I'm warming my feet and drying off my shoes that got wet in the rain today. If you are really cheap you could turn your heat way down and sit across from your roommate and both of you could share one of these.
The only con. The plastic doesn't feel super thick so I'm going to return the hammer I bought for putting this through a durability test.
Buy it.
