Summary: Sturdy, strong, very short life
Comment: The construction feels strong and sturdy. On a known-good battery (performs well with other tools, such as the cordless drill) it lasts long enough to pass through through two 7" diameter maple branches or about 6-8 4" diameter deadwood (species uncertain, a hardwood of some sort) when using a pruning blade. If you want to do any pruning with it, make sure to have plenty of batteries handy. Also, I don't care for the safety, it is too high for me to easily trigger while holding the tool appropriately with both hands in an awkward spot.

Comment: I recently purchased this item in hope that it would look just like a new product. But to my amazement the saw was not 'reconditioned' as the description indicated my saw had many deep scratches and dings on it so I am very disappointed. And will never by another 'reconditioned' product again.
