Comment: Have had this for a couple of weeks and it works as described, the quality of housing is very good = not cheap thin material like a lot of products manufactured today, which is important to me as I am hard on my tools.
Design is also very good fits in your hand with out being cumbersome. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a laser thermometer..

Comment: This is a product which preforms as claimed (something a bit unusual these days). I have found it useful for ensuring true temp for my griddle, gas grill, refrigerator, freezer, and pizza stone in the oven. As time passes I find myself using it for more tasks and some not even cooking related!
I certainly recommend this product!

The IRT0421 Infrared Thermometer is designed to accurately measure temperature from a distance. Simply pull the trigger and aim the pistol grip thermometer at an object using the laser indicator and the unit will provide an accurate temperature measurement in less than a second. It uses two AAA batteries instead of the 9-volt battery commonly found in less capable units, increasing battery life by up to 60%.
